I love the idea of redemption and second chances but how in the literal name of God a church would allow a convicted sex offender anywhere near children is beyond me. If they wanted to provide Mr. Perry with a chance to “serve”, there are a myriad ways to do that without setting up a situation where Mr. Perry violated the terms of his probation or was in a position to be a threat to a child.
