I am not worried about Carolina sports not having “a national identity” as long as Dawn Staley and the Lady Gamecocks field a team. No team, male or female, in any of the major sports, has won three national championships in the last ten years. (and were ranked number one at the end of the Covid year, when no national tournament was held)
