So how much will Paris’ firing cost USC in buyout money? The athletic department leadership at USC made the same mistake with Paris that they made with Will Muschamp and then with Shane Beamer. All had one decent year that resulted in big raises and an extended contract which then resulted in a downward spiral into mediocrity or worse. There is no education in the second kick of a mule.
