I tried for a year to get Direct Express to Block a phone company charging me for a phone I had canceled because it was stolen. I didn’t have the info the phone company wanted and Direct Express told me that it was my problem and they would let any off the wall internet company take money out of my account and I would call them it would take hours to finally get to talk to someone if at all. I got so feed up with them that I closed my account. I haven’t had any issues with the Bank I’m using now. I really think that the government should make Direct Express pay us for all the trouble and money we’ve lost because of their lack of compassion for the people who keep them in business
This is my only income I live alone I’m really missed off.i have chariot Marie tooth disease that’s why I can’t work.i want my money today.never had any problems before with this money from ssi disability
Ditrct Express/Comerica is the biggest wast of time and money. I am going to open a different banking account because this isn’t worth my time or stess. Not only does it take 3 hours or longe to reach a dispute representative but waiting for a form is even more aggrevating! It’s been 5 days and now I have to wait for 3 hours to call and find out where it is. There is no accountability for ineptness and making a complaint is useless…. Doge should have eliminated this entitiy and found one that had more accountability. Elizabeth Warren should be assamed of this under her controll….There is nothing worse than Direct Express

I jumped through hoops. Someone took my money out of my account the first day it was put on my card. I’ll make it short. The letter came saying it was my fault, even though the card never left my sight and no one had my pin. I live and pay my bills off my little check, they couldn’t help. Most uncaring people I ever talked to. Hope they can help some of you recover your money. I haven’t had any luck. CH
Yes the same thing happened to me my card was debited in October little did I know that it had been going on and I didn’t know it and then when I called Direct Express they sent me a form to fill out and had to have it back by a certain date then when I did then they sent me a letter saying that I was at fault but my card never left my purse let alone let anybody else see it so nobody had my card number so that you should be a new card told me I was out all that money and there was nothing I could do I couldn’t appeal their decision or anything which is ridiculous because I didn’t do anything wrong I just wanted my money back
I’ve had $382 dollars taken off my card ín November 2024 and Direct Expenses told me to contact Social Security and Social Security told me to contact Medicad of Kentucky and I can’t get thru to them I’m really frustrated and my pending deposit is $184 dollars less than what I’m supposed to receive it’s ridiculous I’m having to go thru this
What’s. The sense in a response to you I can’t get my money from direct express. They won’t give. Me a card and they have 3_000 . Can’t pay bills food, how van they keep my money, come on every body says nothing I can do.
I’ve been on disability since 1989 direct Express I knew my money was going somewhere and every time I followed a claim through the rigmore they denied my money back I’m quadriplegic I’m paralyzed I can have a critical spinal cord damage that direct Express is never refunded me no money at all and I’ve been on disability since 1989 so I don’t I couldn’t even begin to tell you how much money they took from me over the years

I didn’t know about the Law Suit because I had problem as always and lost money had to cancel a lot of Cards I needed to have been in the Law Suit as well.
There have to be people there who are operating with others outside of that for the millions of things that go wrong for card holders – you know who does have your PIN? Direct Express – that’s who. and its not just charges and having money stolen – they work with UPS or FedEx to notify of card shipments and have the cards stopped/stolen. They are totally corrupt and I am not sure why the US government is ok with them operating in so MUCH bad faith for so long, victimizing the elderly WHOSE MONEY THIS IS.

I Truly feel for anyone dealing with this Direct Express in 2024 I started to notice that funds were being stolen from my account, When I asked repeatedly for statements they would never send them after repeated calls that would keep me on the phone for hours I finally received my statements beginning Late March,All of April ,As well May ,I was shocked to see dozens upon dozens of charges ,Now I am talking about pages of charges from Tick Tock ,Google as well Apple I. Do not NOT have accounts with these Companies ,In 2024 I was 69 yrs old and these charges were for 1.00, 6.99 ,19.95 ,9.89 charges that totaled way more than 1.000 dollars ,I was sick ,I am at this date 3/25 still dealing with this scrap I have received about half of my money back to my account If I didn’t hound Direct Express I would have never known about my funds and most likely never received what little that I begged to put back in my account Btw I never gave anyone my card ,Even though I am elderly I know what I experienced and easily recognized fraud that the Bank said was all mine ,When I called these various companies they always asked me my full name as well my e-mail address ,Guess. What they could not find me anywhere in there system ,What does that tell you about This situation that countless individuals are going through.

I’ve had my card canceled without notice three times for data breaches and each time it took two weeks for a new card to arrive, which seems almost impossible given that I’ve never have any late mail that’s sent via USPS.
This just happened to my mother. I called direct express and they said a payment went to prohome in Oklahoma City. We are in Pennsylvania. I called prohome and they said that they have nothing to do with it and that I was not the only one to call about it. HOW ARE THE PEOPLE AT DIRECT EXPRESS ABLE TO CONTINUE TO GET AWAY WITH THIS. WTF…….
Direct Express now.now has my wife to be going threw it fraud and social security to is letting do. It they wish Ito say I can go to a. Different bank after direct express unlocks my credit card which supposedly had been on Wednesday it’s now. Friday and still haven’t heard from them can be moved back to to a check before they stop my money too
