Regina Ward is an excellent lawyer. She has an interesting back story, but it’s hers to tell. I’d recommend her to anyone in the Horry County/Greater Pee Dee area for any family law matters. As for a “coercive control” law, I’d like to see some examples some other red states that have been in use for a while, and see what the consensus of their legal community and citizenry think about it…at first glance it seems like a minefield of vagueness that can be fashioned into a tool of persecution in the hands of the wrong judge.

Catfish, you better believe such a law will be used as a weapon by one party (usually female) against the other (usually male) in divorce cases. This is exactly why we do not want nor need such a law.
