Former South Carolina Senator Arrested … Again

Is it just me or are there alot more people, particularly guys, in their early 50s and 60s whose lives are just falling apart – usually from the ramifications of alcoholism. Their careers and family implodes, they just swirl the drain and either drink themselves literally to death, die in an accident, put a gun in their mouth, or pull the dramatic suicide by cop after a barricaded standoff. I personally know an example of each mode of flameout that has occurred within the last two years…prior to that, maybe once a decade. Seems like it just exploded after the pandemic.
