Marxism and liberalism is the victimology religion of the sneering, snarky, ne’er-do-well malcontent who can’t or won’t simply get up and mind his own business and work for a living. Man, so much misinformation and so little time and space.
First, General John Kelly was present when Trump called our war dead, “losers and suckers” and confirmed the account. He was also present at Arlington Cemetary when Trump looked around and asked, “What was in this for them?” And of course, we all witnessed him disparaging Vietnam POWs on television. The Trump family has no respect for people who sacrifice for their country.
Second, Trump lied on financial statements and state property tax returns. That was all part of the prosecution. Whether you think it right or wrong, it is a federal crime to lie on a loan application, even if you pay it back. It says that right on the application. That law was made more strict in the aftermath of the banking crisis of 2008, where people were lying on applications to get higher bank loans, which was part of what precipitated the crash. Trump knew he was lying because the value he put on his property tax returns and the value he put on his financial statements were two totally different things.
Third, the comment about Christ was sarcastic. Of course, Christ would not support killing people who try to cross a man-made border. You can call it natural law or whatever you want, but the Bible is very clear about how strangers are to be treated, and how foreigners are to be treated, and it does not involve guns, razor wire, taking their children, or killing them. Read Matthew if you want to know what Christ expects of you!!
Fourth, Trump’s lawyer argued in Court that a President is immune from prosecution for anything he does in office unless he is impeached. If 34 Senators refuse to vote for impeachment, he cannot be impeached. His lawyer argued that if the President ordered “Seal Team Six” to take out a political opponent, he would be immune from prosecution unless he is impeached. That means with the support of 34 Senators, the President is a King and can kill anyone he wants, even those in the Senate who may vote to impeach him. That is the kind of President Trump wants to be.
Fifth, we have not given up energy independence. The US is producing more oil and natural gas than it ever has, including under Trump. But we do not own that oil. It is owned by large multinational corporations that control both the price and who gets the product. So if you want to pass a law that says US energy companies cannot export oil and national gas, we will easily be energy independent (that is socialism by the way). And if you want to know why gas prices are higher. Look at oil company profits and what they pay to their executives, even though they received huge tax cuts under Trump. Biden cannot control the price of oil or natural gas.
Sixth, I don’t know what you wanted the ATF to do to Hunter Biden, but he has been indicted on three felony gun charges. He will stand trial for those charges and will either be acquitted or convicted. And as far as the laptop is concerned there is nothing on there of interest to anyone, except people trying to embarrass Joe Biden. No evidence of crime by Joe Biden. And now the Russian, who was the only witness the House has who has accused Biden of anything, has been arrested for lying about Biden; and yesterday we found out he was paid $600,000 by associates of Trump before lying to the FBI.
I wish I had time to address all the remaining disinformation in this post, but it would be a waste of time and annoy the pig, and you obviously did not watch the State of the Union speech if you think Biden can’t hold his own.
It’s 35 Senators not 34. You need 2/3rds of the Senators to vote to convict and remove from office. So yes under the argument Trump made in court he could kill anyone if either the House does not Impeach him or you cannot get 66 Senators to vote to convict and remove from office.
There is a lot of nonsense in this missive that has been disproven over and over, but one item stuck with me. The Trump loyalist like to say that he told his cult followers to peacefully protest on Jan 6th. He did say that near the start of his speech, but in the last few lines he said “And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.” Why do the Trump cultists never mention this?
The same reason they don’t mention that after the attack became violent Trump was repeatedly asked to call off the attack and refused to do so. He wanted that attack to continue and he hoped a lot of people would be killed.
