More Women In Government February 7, 2024 at 2:17 pm

We need more women in government, don’t we? Kershaw County brags that all three incorporated municipalities have female mayor’s. Now if we could just get more on councils!

While you are digging in Kershaw County you should also ask about the arrest of county magistrate Darryl Drakeford for DUI on January 26th in Richland County. He is also a department of revenue employee. The same agency investigating Debra Courtney.

That will go the same way the public drunk charge went for senator Tom Davis in Lexington. No record, no charges no history. I think even the mugshot is gone. All like a fart in the wind

“The SCDOR is committed to the fair administration of tax laws,” a spokesperson for the agency noted. “By taking enforcement action against noncompliant taxpayers, (SCDOR) seeks to prevent unfairly increasing the tax burden on those who do comply.”
Translation: The Mafia is committed to getting their cut and those who do not comply will be used as an example to ensure we won’t be forced to extort more from the cowards who do comply with our fair terms.
