A practical decision from a principled guy …. thank you for your service, Senator.
He is laughing all the way to the bank with all that donation money that suckers gave him.
Those campaign dollars have some pretty tight constraints – like limits on what can/could be transferred to a different campaign war chest – like Gov or another term @ US Senate. Not sure of all the details….
Hi Goody3! That is what I used to think but in more recent times I have read and heard that there are ways these parasites (politicians) can manipulate those campaign funds, move them around, and eventually wind up converting a chunk of them to personal use.
Heck, the ones in Congress can take advantage of insider knowledge in stock trading and nothing happens to them. If you or me did that, we would be occupying a cell in some non-resort Federal prison.
That’s how most of us feel about Donald Trump!

Called it from the start of his campaign. I hope his “girlfriend” doesn’t dump him now.
Somewhere, he said he wasn’t going to bring her on the campaign trail unless he intended to marry her. I wonder if he realized he was painting himself into a corner and was about to have to marry his “beard”.
At least Tim has a speck of self-awareness.
He’s right…a vast majority of Americans are saying “Not now, Republicans” when they vote.
It’s too bad how no one ever called Timbo out on all the stupid things he said. Like that Democrats want to allow abortions up to the 52nd week of pregnancy. Or that the striking GM workers should be fired. His knowledge and intelligence are both severely limited. But liberals never called him out for fear of being called racist. And right-wingers never said anything because they think black people are stupid anyhow.
