Openly supporting a rapist and traitor, who is facing 91+ felony charges all over the East Coast (remember…it’s Republicans who have been testifying against Trump. Not Biden and Democrats) is a strange way to show you love America, drunkle.

Criminals always bitch that law enforcement is out to get them, and I guess they are right. We all know he stole classified documents with nuclear secrets and refused to return them. We all know he paid off a porn star, tried to hide it and misreported it on his taxes. That leaves the insurrection.

With fascists like Trump, complaints about persecution are either projection or confession. Jesus said he who lives by the sword will die by the sword. Trump started his political career with chants of “lock her up” at his rallies. He then did everything in his power to get the FBI and the DOJ to trump up charges against Hillary and later against Biden. When they could find nothing to charge them with he was furious.

When it became clear he was losing the election to Biden, he had to come up with an excuse to not (in his words) be the biggest loser in history. So he created the big lie. The stolen election. None of it was true but it took on a life of its own and he and his minions concocted a scheme to overturn the election. When all his plans to get conspirators to throw out Biden’s votes failed, he went to plan B. Get Pence to throw out the Biden electors on January 6. When that failed he turned to plan C open insurrection. He had called his MAGA crowd to Washington, and now he pointed them at the Capitol and traitor Pence and told them to fight like hell. There was no need for a mind meld. His militia supporters, (gangs really) knew what to do. They had been planning for weeks and met with Trump supporter, Roger Stone, at the Willard Hotel to review the plan in the days leading to January 6. They knew if Pence did not do what Trump was asking they would use the riled-up crowd to attack the Capitol, with the full intent to kill Mike Pence, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and as many Democrats as it took to give Republicans loyal to Trump control of both houses.

It all went according to plan, but the coup failed, because police officers stood their ground and held back the crowd until help arrived, and as one Proud Boy complained, “they should have brought guns,” They had brought guns with them to DC, illegally I might, and stored them in their Hotel rooms for the 6th. Trump’s little “Proteste Peacefully” was meaningless. It was designed to shield him if the attack failed. Almost no one heard it and when he was repeatedly asked to repeat it and call off the attacking mob, he refused to do so. Instead, he tweeted that Mike Pence let us down, placing a bull’s eye on his back. He never once again asked the mob to disburse or “peacefully protest’ until it was obvious the coup had failed.

This attack was planned weeks before January 6 and Trump was fully aware of this. How else did Roger Stone know to meet with the guys with the guns at the Willard? But I believe in the jury system. Trump needs to defend himself in court and let the jury decide. If he is innocent, he has nothing to worry about. If he is guilty, as a first offender, the prison sentence will likely be light. He will be treated infinitely better than he would have treated five black kids wrongfully accused of rape.

Oh, and by the way there have been over 10,000 arrests nationwide associated with the George Floyd protests that occurred under Trump. But if you didn’t get all your news from right-wing websites and Faux News you would know that.
