Jenn does an excellent job in bringing these injustices to light. My heart hurts for all that Leigh Ann and her family have been through. I truly hope that these abuses of the system will continue to be brought into the light and Mullen and her politician friends will find themselves being held accountable for these injustices.
Crooks represent crooks. . .
This horrific story is well-told by Jenn. How maddening that this is the way things are in our state,
South Carolina is one of only two states where judges are selected by our general assembly rather than by the governor or voters. MANY members of South Carolina’s general assembly are attorneys who will appear with their client before the judge they helped put on the bench! Fair? I think NOT.
How did Terry Lewis encumber the property (mortgage with his lawyer) without the signature of his burned wife? Doesn’t it require the signatures of all owners to mortgage a property? For the 8½ years I have lived in South Carolina, I have notified how cases malinger in the courts, because the judges do not require frequent appearances or impose requirements on lawyers to report regularly their effects to move forward on cases.
This is a dam shame how Leigh Ann has been treated! But to fit news, is this the only picture you could get of Mrs Matthews is the one with President Biden? President Biden ain’t got nothing to do with a Murder case in Colleton County!
