XAVIER THOMAS UNINJURED …
One of Clemson University’s top football recruits sustained minor injuries during a single car accident in West Virginia. Xavier Thomas, 17, crashed his new Ford F-150 pickup truck after allegedly swerving to miss a deer.
Thomas was alone at the time of the crash and not wearing his seat belt.
“Blessed to walk away from this with just bruises and scratches,” he tweeted.

Thomas – 6-foot-3, 260-pound defensive end – committed to Clemson in April. He is one of two five-star prospects in his class to commit to the defending national champions, joining quarterback Trevor Lawrence (the nation’s No. 1 recruit).
Police in West Virginia have yet to issue a formal report, but our guess is there will be no shortage of questions stemming from this crash.
