Tattooed Nancy Mace Teases Talk Show

Outgoing U.S. congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina teased a new online talk show format this weekend – sporting new tattoos on her familiar bikini look.

The third-term lawmaker – who is leaving office in January 2027 – previewed her anticipated show, entitled ‘Get Maced,’ on YouTube. The introductory hype video for the show included a poolside selfie of Mace in a black bikini before shifting to an interview she conducted last week with reporter Nick Reagan of WCSC TV-5 (CBS – Charleston, S.C.).

“What happens when a Bulldog leaves Washington?” the video’s description noted. “She takes the fight to the people.”

Mace, 48, of Daniel Island, S.C., ran unsuccessfully for governor of South Carolina in June of this year. Prior to that, she won three elections to the U.S. House of Representatives and a special election to the S.C. House.

Mace was a part-owner of FITSNews from 2008-2013 prior to embarking on her career in politics.

Mace has previously addressed her affinity for body art, telling reporter Michael Kruse of Politico she got inked up because of “the pain I need to feel.”

She also told Kruse tattoos were a way for her to “reclaim” her body from those whom she alleges have violated her in the past. According to Kruse, one of her tattoos is the first line from Mrs Dalloway, a novel by famed English author Virginia Woolf.

“Mrs. Dalloway said she would buy the flowers herself,” the book begins.

Mace told Kruse she got her first nine tattoos in rapid succession during her chaotic tenure in congress – which was marked by repetitive cultural warfare and incessant staff turnover.

“It’s just my reaction and my response,” Mace told Kruse. “And it keeps me alive.”

According to our sources, U.S. president Donald Trump has previously taken an interest in Mace’s ink – reportedly telling a group of South Carolina politicos last December that he’d heard the maverick Republican had several “freaky tattoos.”

Mace was one of Trump’s top campaign staffers when he first ran for president in 2016.

Given her uncanny ability to attract headlines – and her prominent social media presence (Mace has more than 1.2 million followers between her two X accounts) – it’s safe to say any venture she launches will receive widespread attention. Also, those inclined to underestimate Mace’s substance would be wise to review her performance in any number of congressional hearings over the past six years.

Whatever one thinks of Mace’s ideology – or her methodology – there is simply no denying she is an incisive, adept interrogator who knows how to put her subjects on the spot.

Combine that with the revealing selfies and perpetual unpredictability and her program is likely to generate plenty of eyeballs…
