What’s the big deal about whether an opponent voted for Trump? What’s that got to do with Spartanburg County, SC? Man, this is South Carolina. You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a Trump voter. It’s just a matter of whether they had to pinch their nose or not.

I’m with you—I don’t believe voting record is what matters here. What does matter is that Rusty agreed to refrain from personal attacks, and then he lied. The accusations he made publicly were untrue, and he has neither acknowledged nor apologized for them publicly. In my opinion, that shows a direct lack of integrity.

Or a well-connected retired Highway Patrol officer with connections in Columbia lied by having his voting record changed. Hopeful he knows how to fudge the number and make crime disappear in Spartanburg County.

I guess if he truly voted for Trump, then we can expect the same shenanigans. Who knows what clever and illegal activity or schemes he’ll come up with to fund his future campaigns.

If you look around at corners across the state I think you will find a pretty common theme. Very few are truly qualified to preform any sort of investigations at all. You might also find they are full of shit and think they don’t stink up the public restroom every time they are near one.
This is clearly a teat sucker who has been riding the gravy train for far to long. Not saying the other fella is any better but WTF this clown is just plain stupid. Who ran his campaign?

The common denominator in all this, Gowdy. I wonder why he is so interested in his circle clinging to power in Spartanburg and has now inserted himself in Greenville where he helped get his former chief of staff appointed as Solicitor.

I sure wish folks could have seen this sooner. Most had voted early and if Clevenger pulls it out we are doomed in Spartanburg to the same good ole boy system. I said all along we needed new blood. Rhino loyalty runs deep here

What you meant to say is the good ole boy system in Columbia did its job by changing Bill Rhyne’s voting record. It must be nice to have friends in high places.

Where are the links to stories about a Spartanburg County gambling ring, or gambling interests that support Wright and Clevenger? I see other references are hot-linked to stories on fitsnews or elsewhere, but not the gambling ring. A search of the site doesn’t turn up any, either?
