Who isn’t a carpetbagger in Charleston and SC? Most are transplants. To be from here doesn’t mean you should rule here. New concervative ideas and values are more than welcomed.
A lot of people move to South Carolina, establish themselves, become part of the community, and ultimately decide to run for office. No problem with that. This guy moved to South Carolina, it would appear, solely for the purpose to run against Graham, who he rightfully sees as a vulnerable. That is the only reason he is here. He doesn’t give two craps about this state or its people. He is simply trying to use us to get a position of power and influence.
Dear Paul,
With all disrespect, you already lied to the Palmetto state. Your parents were not the workers at the country club type. Your father went to John’s Hopkins School of Medicine and your mother worked for NIH. We South Carolinians don’t need outsiders moving to our state to tell us what should be done. Frankly, we kick ass at everything except lower education. Bye! Seriously, you seem like a rather bright guy from MIT and all, but this is a dumb idea. So, your argument is Trump supports you over Graham bc you drafted the blueprint? Nah! Graham has served this state very well. He is not the problem. The problem is a small group of people calling themselves republicans who are really jihadists like the SC Freedumb Caucus who defended one of their leaders involved with Child Sexual Abuse Material. Hitchcock your cart to that horse and it will be a long road back up north to NYC where you lived.

Sorry, no facist carpetbaggers allowed.

Damn!! How lucky is South Carolina to be blessed by a savior like this guy to come along and bless us with all his knowledge and religious fervor….
Bingo, all above.
