Leon is a politician who IMO plays the slick political game very well just like most legislators of our great state. His brother Michael sits on MUSC board of trustees– for what reason and by what qualifications no one can justify– just as Renee Goldfinch sits on the board of trustees of College of Charleston, by virtue of her just being the crooked legislator’s wife. What the democratic leaders and their handlers have failed to realize in this election (ignoring the Trump wave) is that people are sick of these losers who play games with regular citizens and fail to focus on jobs and economy. SC Democrats do not even attempt or pretend to attempt to drain the swamp to gain some credibility in the state and create noise to bring attention to the rampant corruption in the state. Democrats need to find good outside candidates if the current bunch are pure incompetent, I feel, to win elections this time around. The wave seems to be against established politicians, unlike anything I have ever seen in my LONG lifetime!!
