Once you’re elected to an office like this, do you get to claim that any expression of political sentiment is not in your capacity as an elected official? Is it illegal? No. Is it in poor taste? Yes. If he truly wants to be a representative of people and a leader, then he should work to build bridges, even with those who don’t agree with him. That is what good leaders do. Unfortunately under Trump more and more elected leaders don’t feel the need to represent all the people, even the ones who disagree, any longer.
Tom has textbook SDE; he thinks his big boy truck compensates for his little nob.
If you were at the protest, you would have experienced this insecure guy deafening locomotive horn he installed in his ‘hellfire apocalypse’. Not only did he drive by once, he had to turn around and pass by again. Sad!
Tom’s too much of an insecure narcissist to understand what an embarrassment he is to his family and the state of South Carolina. The constituents of Dorchester County and beyond deserve SO MUCH BETTER.

The middle finger is just as much an expression of speech as is the fools who protest something that isn’t relevant to this country (i.e. we don’t have a king and never will). Probably not the best image for an elected official, but I guess he has the right.
