Alan Wilson can get bent. He’s absolutely useless.
While sometimes Wilson is a bit too eager to throw himself in some of the more “culture war” type causes for the sake of political points, he does not do so at the expense of core law & order functions. He will not play paddycake with the ANTIFA types, nor will SLED or most of our major county sheriffs and major metro area police chiefs.

However, the landing page for “No Kings” urges citizens to participate in a “nationwide day of defiance” against Trump.
“However”, what? Are these two statements at odds?
So glad the City of Charleston has a new Mayor and Charleston County has a new Sheriff. I predict a different outcome than May 2020. If anyone wants to revisit that “peaceful protest” it’s on You Tube.
