That was an interesting peak into the fantasy world republicans live in these days. More ridiculous defense of doing nothing on our out of control gun problem. More made up ‘moral’ outrage that will go nowhere. And another example of the ‘hero’ of the right wing nuts being a total buffoon. What in the hell happened to you guys? It’s weird and very sad.

I have to admit the Planned Parenthood debacle has transformed me into a pro-lifer. At the very least, I am against tax dollars going to fund Planned Parenthood. Poor women can get birth control with their Medicaid. Planned Parenthood has no other purpose than to operate as a government funded abortion clinic.
I can see why someone like Rick Manning whose occupation is manufacturing outrage would want Congress to investigate Planned Parenthood. Too bad so many citizens like Mom have been bamboozled.
An expert analysis conducted by Fusion GPS into the “sting” videos by anti-abortion extremists posing as medical company reps and released by a group calling itself the Center for Medical Progress concluded that the five videotapes of Planned Parenthood staff have at least 42 splices where content is cut and edited together to make it appear to be a seamless conversation.
In some cases, these splices completely change the meaning of statements. On one video, a Planned Parenthood staff member’s remarks about lab protocols were edited to make it sound like she was talking about changing abortion procedures. Phrases on the tape were isolated and removed, stringing together unrelated sentences to change the meaning.
On one tape, a Planned Parenthood staff member in Colorado says 13 separate times that any arrangements related to fetal tissue donation need to be reviewed by attorneys and follow all laws—and all 13 are edited out of the video.
On another tape, a Planned Parenthood staff member in Texas says nine separate times that there is no “profit” related to fetal tissue donation—and all nine are edited out of the video.
The hidden cameras used had both time stamps and frame counters turned on, revealing where chunks were missing. Audio didn’t match video, camera angles and lighting changed in the middle of conversations and time stamps revealed big jumps. These were not mistakes or using the equipment incorrectly. They were intentional post-production edits which mean the videos have no evidentiary value in a legal context and cannot be relied upon for any official inquiries.
Entering them in a Congressional investigation should be a criminal offense comparable to perjury.
For many women on Medicaid, a Planned Parenthood clinic is their preferred choice to receive birth control, and Federal law protects their right to choose their Medicaid provider.
You cannot be a decent person and still support Planned Parenthood because “decent” means “morally upright and respectable.” There is nothing — absolutely nothing — morally upright or respectable about being an apologist for child killers.

Yes.The abortion industry is evil. Those who support–financially and politically–the abortion machine are supporting an evil and a wicked enterprise. Once you see doctors and executives from Planned Parenthood pulling baby’s severed limbs and organs out from a dish while joking around, you cannot in good conscience claim this is all about “women’s health.” The “women’s health” euphemism is a grotesque lie.
