Wait … scratch that. Palin’s been heard from, we’re sure … we just haven’t cared enough to pay attention to whatever it is she has to say.
The ultimate substance-free politician was interviewed by Extra TV this week – an exchange that somehow wound up in our email inboxes. In the clip, Palin defends surprise GOP frontrunner Donald Trump from his attackers.
“Man he is just getting crucified out there just for telling the truth,” Palin said. “He’s doing a good job of that and he’s shaking it up the way it should be, and he’s leading other candidates and having to talk about the issues that average Joe Six-Pack American wants to hear and wants to talk about.”
Palin addressed speculation that she might wind up on a national ticket again – perhaps as “The Donald’s” running mate.
“Well, there are so many good potential female running mates out there, and male running mates,” she said.
Palin said her choice for president is “ABC” – “Anybody But Clinton,” but added that the “skids are greased” for Hillary Clinton when it comes to the mainstream media’s treatment of her scandal-scarred presidential campaign.
“I think the media is kind of playing this game, where they’re clobbering her a little today, you know they’re trying to hold her accountable, so that when she does … jump over this latest hump, which is this scandal with the emails, the media can say, ‘Hey, see, we were fair,'” Palin said.

I’m no Palin fan myself, but I wouldn’t throw stones. If she started a blog, it would be ridiculously popular with a certain segment. She’s making plenty of coin right now, though, so she’s not having to look at that route.
God, I think Trump has better business sense, and just plain better sense, than to choose this self-aggrandizing skank as his running mate.
Ditto choosing her for anything else, save maybe as someone to clean his toilet. Look what she (in retrospect, thankfully) did for McCain’s campaign.
That said, I do agree with most of what she was quoted as saying in this article.
She gave McCain a chance-energized the base who had NO interest in the RINO.

Sarah Palin’s political career was over the night of the 2008 Presidential election. Donald Trump is smart enough to know that alienating anyone at this point would not be a wise move, no matter, how small their following. Trump abides by the ole Lyndon Johnson school of politics:
“Try to keep everyone on the inside of the tent pissing out, not on the outside of the tent pissing in.”
Given her popularity, she has more potential to harm Trump than to be a substantial asset. She will not allowed to get get so close to Trump that she will harm him, but you can’t have her shouting at you from afar.

Yeah, she is one to be careful with how you handle her. She is by no means a loony, she has enough savvy to know that she has to be careful with Trump. She, in no way, would want to create a relationship with Trump that would politically harm him, but be there if he needs some help from her. She can pull it off, she is no dummy.
Trump is currently putting together a diverse constituency on the political right that no one has ever seen before. How he is doing it confounds the experts, because up to this point, identifying a political constituency was as well-defined as slicing up a cake. No one has seen this political phenomenon before Trump.
