PALMETTO STATE DEMOCRATS STAFF UP …
|| By FITSNEWS || Wait … there are Democrats in South Carolina?
Sure … in fact our best ‘guesstimate’ is that 95 percent of the state’s elected officials are Democrats, even if only 35-40 percent of them wear a “D” behind their names.
That’s why absolutely nothing has changed in the Palmetto State in the two decades since the state shifted from Democratic to “Republican” rule. The new boss … was the old boss.
Anyway, the new perpetual minority party – which represents those 35-40 percent of Palmetto politicians – has hired two new staffers.
Jessica Church – a Roanoke, Virginia native – will be the S.C. Democratic Party (SCDP)’s new political director. She previously served in a similar role for Correct the Record, a Democratic super political action committee (a.k.a. super-PAC). Meanwhile Diane May – originally from Indianapolis, Indiana – will be the party’s new communications director. She previously served on Barack Obama‘s 2012 presidential campaign as deputy press secretary for the state of Wisconsin.
While it’s tempting to view SCDP hires as irrelevant … that would be a mistake. Remember, the S.C. Republican Party was already deeply divided before this year’s contentious debate over the Confederate flag.
And Democrats have repeatedly proven they can be ruthlessly transactional in exploiting those divisions.

You just hit on the problem with SC government. The old moss backed Dims that saw things changing and switched parties without switching their thinking. We have all together too many Dims in sheep’s clothing running this state. I have been saying like forever that Republicans need to clean out the old Dims and start over with real Republicans.

Why on God’s green earth would someone take a job with the SCDP? I guess there’s no pressure or expectations of ever winning a statewide election.
Great, one ran a indoctrinating snitch site/slush fund and the other lorded over the vandalizing of the WI Statehouse?
