Why can’t anyone understand that you can favor emigration as long as it’s legal emigration.

Immigration Reform March 2, 2015 at 11:25 am

Because of the huge restrictions placed on people coming here legally and the desperation of those who want to come here? Becoming a citizen is very expensive and takes forever, and there is no guarantee you will get it. If illegal immigrants had that much time money and willpower they would not have to come to America to work under the table for less than minimum wage to survive.

Walking across a desert takes willpower and a few days. Getting citizenship takes extreme willpower and up to 25 years.

Souls March 2, 2015 at 11:15 am

There have been enough comments discussing souls on this website recently. “Sad souls” “black souls” “lying souls” “dark souls” “pitiful souls”. These are comments typically discussing biblical scripture and an elected official. I think we need a “soul” break.

So the take away from the article:
Jeff Sessions, who’s proven racist past prevented him from being appointed to the Federal Bench is the soul of the Republican party.
The 2014 election resulted in a mandate against Obama’s executive action on immigration. This is the second time in as many days I’ve seen this wholly erroneous statement from Republicans trying to justify their shut down of Homeland defense. Obama’s executive action came AFTER the mid terms, and no amount of saying otherwise can change that bit of history. The lesson form the mid terms was that Republicans vote, and if the majority of voters stay home Republicans can win.

Wrong again.Obama’s poll numbers plummeted AND the voters were horrified by the thousands of illegals with children that were allowed to cross the border early last year.

That is why Obama and the Democrats were routed in November, AGAIN.

In ‘battleground’ states with close congressional elections over 50% voted INCLUDING the new Republican governor in Texas getting almost 50% of the Hispanic vote.

Can’t have 130% black turnout in every county in America every election cycle-DOJ gets suspicious…

50% of near zero is about 50% of – well – zero. 33% total turnout in Texas, of which only 15% was Hispanic. To put that into real numbers, out of 100 stand against a wall, only 33 voted, of that 33, on 4 were Hispanic. As the President said to latinos on Telemundo last week – you want change, you need to vote.

And since the vote was split – it means of that 4, the GOP got 2.

Because they preferz white immigrants over tan. And they believe that Great Grandpa Genovese and his wife Maria Pelotzi Genovese came here speaking flawless English and immediately developed a Southern accent and moved to Lexington and joined the Baptish church. When in fact they settled on the east side of Manhatten in a decidedly Italian neighborhood, and never spoke English even when they moved out to Passiac to live with their kids in the early 1970s, and continued to shop in Italian markets and attend the local Italian catholic church.

My guess is they have watched the Democrat Party and the race hustlers like Jackson and Sharpton enslave blacks to generations of perpetual poverty and are saying no more.

Democrat Party could care less about Hispanics except they need votes in the future now that the black population is declining with the despair of poverty and abortion.

Who is left to pay for all of this???…the children of the immigrants that have always payed the bills in this country…

Actually both parties need to reform. The GOP needs to accept the government the Founding Fathers put in the Constitution and Dems need to encourage more work and less handouts.

“…The GOP needs to accept the government the Founding Fathers put in the Constitution and Dems need to encourage more work and less handouts…”.

Well, you got it half right – “…the government the founding fathers put in the constitution…“?!? Did you really mean to imply that Republicans believe in extra-constitutional government on the order of your current occupant (or every Democratic occupant in the last 30 years) of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, or for that matter, nearly every Democrat in the House and Senate?

Your current occupant, an alleged “constitutional scholar” has violated it more time than I can count in the last couple of years slick.

The person residing in the White House is the President of the United States. He was elected to that office. Unlike that time Baby Bush was anointed.

As for violation of the Constitution, go hang out with the other Tea Nuts who know little or nothing about the Constitution, and choose to interpret it to be the way they want it to be.

“The layman’s constitutional view is that what he likes is constitutional and that which he doesn’t like is unconstitutional.”

Hon. Hugo L. Black

That sums up the tea nuts in a nutshell.
