I was waiting on the part where the text says…

We here at FITS think it is a waste of taxpayer money to enforce statutes regarding train tracks. This is not a core function of government. In fact, the free market will take care of weeding out the unworthy fitness model/personal trainers.

******

I also am amazed that I didn’t read…

For those of you keeping score at home, Train 1- Trainer 0.

Even government statutes can’t help some people.

Ha….Indeed, more often than not.

At least he didn’t get bumped onto the track and, well, meet a much more gruesome end.

This dumb fuck should have read the schedule. Not all trains that pass through a station actually stop. This one was a pass-through. He thought he only had to make it to the stop point for the nose of the train.

Maybe he was pretending to be Superman and thought he could stop a speeding train.

“Faster than a speeding locomotive.”

Guess he isn’t Superman.

It was faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive.

You Republicans are all about the herd being thinned. Which is exactly why you suck.

Why’s that? Some people just need killin’.

Some genetic lines are destined to be wiped out.

…like the Republicans.

Dude, I’m no big defender of the Republicans, but put down the Kool-Aid! ;-)

Political winds shift almost as a matter of course. The country moves left…the country moves right. It’s primarily a function of the uneducated middle, not the extremes.

euwe max January 22, 2015 at 4:28 am

This Kool-Ade I’ve got kicks *ASS* – you should try it!

Republicans are scum – even the drain bamaged tea party has discovered their inner core of hypocrisy.

RogueElephant January 22, 2015 at 7:56 am

The establishment of both parties are scum. They have quit working for the American people and only work to keep themselves in office. I used to not believe in term limits but do now. Probably won’t ever see them but they are badly needed.

I hear rinos are on the endangered species list. I wish the same could be said for RINOs.

RogueElephant January 21, 2015 at 11:52 am

Once again , proof you can’t fix stupid.

Sure you can… if you’re a train.

He was a West Point graduate. I’m a little surprised by his behavior at age 37.

Sounds somewhat similar to what happened to the young lady during filming of a movie near Savannah a year or two ago. Seems movie people do not want to get permission and permits to safely film near trains.

Maybe the free market will work that out….

Seriously though, she was just doing her job and was told they had 60 seconds to get off the tracks in case of a train (they were denied permission to film on the tracks by CSX). She moved to the side of the train trestle when she realized she couldn’t get off the bridge in time, but was struck by a metal bed that was placed on the tracks for a scene (that went flying when hit). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dujmhIjbYW4

Thanks for the update. I live in the region where that happened and where the girl grew up. I never heard the full story.

Years ago we had 2 kids killed on a railroad trestle near my home. They got on, tried to out run it, but just couldn’t make it. I grew up near the rail yard and played between the freight trains as a kid. I must have been nuts, as those trains are extremely dangerous with all kinds of stuff falling off or hanging off of them as they go by.

Today, I don’t even pull my car up close to rail crossings as trains go by for fear something will fly off and hit my car.

Superman is “more powerful than a locomotive” and “faster than a speeding bullet.”

Of course, a speeding bullet is faster than a locomotive.

If he thought he could outrace a train, why didn’t he try to do so beside the track, rather than on it? Crazy. I guess that would not be as dramatic. And if he wanted drama, he sure got it.
