The money will not follow almost half the K-12 children. Because almost half the students ride the bus to school. From the child’s home, there is one bus route, and that is to the one in their public school district attendance zone.
The most important factor in school choice is transportation to get to the school of choice. Home schoolers and car riders have choice. With out addressing transportation, there is no choice for the half of SC K-12 students who are bus riders.

I wish people didn’t have this mentality. Even though French won’t win, if you think he’s the best candidate, you should be voting for him. The fact that most Americans feel forced to vote for either a Republican or a Democrat or “their vote doesn’t matter” is the very lifeblood of our horrid two-party system.
If more people voted for who they truly thought was the best person for the job, or if none fit that role, abstained, then this country would be far better off.

I will say again, I’ve known Haley for a long time, helped her defeat Larry Koon and worked on her election to Governor. Shortly after being sworn in, I realized she was a fake and liar who could NOT be trusted. I left shortly after.
