Sheheen demands “honest leadership” and is DAMN serious about it. That is why he played the race card on the citizens of South Carolina by demanding the Confederate Flag be removed from the State House grounds for a few black votes? How cynical.
Apparently Sheheen has so little respect for the people of South Carolina he is willing to “stoke” the racial fires that Barack Obama has poured lighter fluid on this country, with the help of the disgraced attorney general, for political gain.
Can Ferguson, MO be far behind if this is the standard of “honest leadership” Sheheen demands? I have always believed that Democrats would do ANYTHING to win. Voters beware.
Why are you not demanding Leadership from gov.Haley? who has been in charge of this dept.Sheheen has a lot more respect for the people of SC than this Gov.has and playing the people of SC like when she had millions of dollars spent looking for all those ghost voters that was electing Democrats so this Thing of Democrats doing anything to get elected is not true .Voters beware of Republicans and this governor pulling the cover over your eyes .
Nikki is one lousy governor…and obviously a crooked one as well…but her fantastic butt makes me forget about all of that
Where has Joel Lourie been for the last 15 years? While he has been playing politics in the Senate, Kids were being beaten, sodomized and killed.
Joel is a real hero alright. He is the guy that turns up after the fire is out and says, “well, that was close.”
Lourie, go visit the graves of the dead kids this weekend instead of watching half a dozen football games.
Just another lousy politician. All talk, not hat.
Lourie is a pompous jerk, preening for the cameras, trying to hide his inaction.
You know we did restructure state government to make the governor accountable. That means the governor is responsible for the decisions, actions and repercussions of those she personally chooses to lead her Cabinet agencies. The LAC report chronicles an endless litany of half-truths, lies and misrepresentations by the management of DSS — which Nikki Haley selected and defended to the end, when her imported director folded in the face of legislative determination to oust her. Even now, Haley continues to deny the obvious fact that under her management, things have not gone satisfactorily at DSS. This is not over — expect the federal government to demand some money back that was advanced under distorted statistics and reporting from DSS. And the saddest aspect of all of this is that DSS was set up and charged with protecting our most vulnerable citizens.
The above “communication” is as weak as kitty milk — I’m not impressed.
