You’ve heard of helmet to helmet hits? How about a helmet to the face!
Houston Texans defensive end Antonio Smith – a.k.a. the “Ninja Assassin” – is likely facing a suspension after ripping off the helmet of a Miami Dolphins’ offensive lineman and attempting to use it as a weapon during a preseason game.
Video of the incident was first published by Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer.
The clip clearly shows Smith – a ten-year veteran out of Oklahoma State University – ripping off the helmet of offensive lineman Richie Incognito and swinging the helmet at Incognito’s head. No penalty was called on the play – and Smith wasn’t ejected – presumably because none of the referees officiating the game saw what happened.
Smith and Incognito have history. Last year, Smith was fined $21,000 (later reduced to $11,000) for kicking Incognito during a regular season game. Smith claims Incognito was twisting his ankle at the time.
The NFL regular season begins on Thursday September 5 when the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens travel to Denver to take on Peyton Manning and the Broncos.

“Richie Incognito” is going to be TBG’s twitter handle when he sends pics of his junk to unsuspecting HAWT babes.
“Ninja Assassin Attacks Incognito, Nobody Notices”
Fantasy Football, anyone?
I expect a to see the NFL come back with a $100,000 fine and a 6 game suspension.
