Actually, the relevant breakdown of course is Republican, Independent, and Democrat. Republicans did not vote for him and never will, so their opinion is irrelevant. Democratic approval is important because it is a measure of potential turn out, and Independents are important because they are the swing voters.
95% of the black population voted for Obama.
Yet there seems to be a disproportionate number of blacks crying about racism.
