It’s been a while. Hope all is well. As I was reading your posts about the implosion at the “Music Farm School of Law” (MFSCOL), I stumbled onto a gem of information. Tommy Cofield, the slack-jawed yokel appointed by Nikki Haley to replace Darla Moore on the University of South Carolina board of trustees, is prominently featured as a “faculty member” at the law school.
Here’s the link.
So which institution does Cofield support when there is a conflict of interest? The law school at USC, where he is a trustee? Or the law school at Charleston, where he is a faculty member.
Another nugget. The reported sales price for the MFSOL is between $1,200 and $1,800, considered by experts in the field to be an overvaluation.

“NSJS” – First of all, props to you for having one of the greatest commenter names in the history of FITS. Second, based on your contextual cues (and the Cofield link) we infer the “Music Farm School of Law” refers to the recently imploded Charleston School of Law. Bravo a second time for that reference. As for Cofield’s double-dipping, well … that’s just what “movers and shakers” do in South Carolina. And there’s no “conflict” for the politically connected in this state – nor are there consequences.

Overvaluation is putting it mildly. It was very obvious that dump was going under at a speed equal to or greater than the worst Student Loans. Because that is where they are located among many other places.
Going “for profit” is redundant because that is why it was conceived. For people to get rich off of student loans and not have to pay them back.

This website occupies such a sad place somewhere between an adolescent’s blog and a relevant tabloid (if there is such a thing.) Starting a discussion by calling the subject a “slack-jawed yokel” is the sort of ad hominem thinking that “Sic Willie” wants desperately to attribute to CSOL graduates. However, it is most properly attributed to the readership of this sloppy hodgepodge of Will Folks’ whining and complaining — a man whose real claim to fame is that he cheated on his wife with a politician of the most mediocre intelligence in recent history. And yet poor Will could not even prove that sad piece of imagined glory. As such, the rest of the nation quickly forgot him and he now derives his sense of significance not from a meaningful career, but by being the internet’s equivalent of a shock jock, and rousing the anti-intellectual prejudices of the real yokels in SC.
Further, there is no conflict between USC (a public school) and CSOL (a private school.) But nice investigative work. I might hire you for one of my current cases. The defendant has a website. Maybe you could visit the website and then report back what you find on the first page.

Reading Comprehension: no one knows the timeline of Will Folks’ affair because it didn’t happen. Hence why he is such a joke. Additionally, one’s level of education and their level of preparedness are distinct concepts. A well-educated 6th grader would know that.

TBG believes that the facts will bear out that Mr. Folks was not married at the time of his alleged tryst with Mrs. Haley. TBG posits that Mr. Folks did not engage in the aforementioned tryst because of an interest in Mrs. Haley’s mind.

…..he supports the institution that is swapping Real Estate with Mayor Riley who in turn supports his …..what..??
We wonder just how many students he has under his “wing” that will make cases for our returning vets for disability..?? All the while he watches the local weather report and looks stupified when he is told that no weatherman or woman ever tells his students how much LOCAL wind energy is blowing above Sullivan’s Island. He is probably plotting his move to the Board serving Clemson and the Wind Turbine facility. Mr Cofield is no fool when he rides through the old Navy Base..!!
