I worked with a news director/ head anchor at WPDE that was the embodiment of Ron Burgandy without the mustache, totally full of himself, completely aloof to the fact he was a complete tool, and dumber than a box of bottle caps. So, being able to relate to this scenario turned movie, I’ve always had a soft spot for the first Anchorman. I’ll see this one too, but there is no way it will be as hilarious as the first one. You gotta admit Smirks, the flute solo in the first one is prop comedy gold!
