A 77-year-old South Carolina man has been arrested and charged with mistreatment of animals after this website’s exclusive report on malnourished horses at his farm – including a horse that was left to die in his field.
Matthew Stroman, of Orangeburg, S.C., voluntarily turned himself in to authorities this week. Meanwhile five horses were seized from his property and given emergency medical attention.
Also, the dead horse discovered by one of our readers actually wound up being two dead horses – a mare and her newborn foal.

As soon as Senator Brad Hutto’s office receives word from his investigators on whether or not the man is a Democrat or a Republican and how he can help or hurt Hutto, then a determination will be made as to how he is treated. If the man is a Democrat, Brad will contact his mentor, Jean Toal, who has his testicles in a jar on her desk, and he will follow her instructions.
