Wow, this post just made me realize something. I’ve felt that since Campbell, each governor ends up being worse than the last one. I didn’t think anything could top Sanford until we got Haley, and then I didn’t think anything could top Haley, but the notion of Governor Benjamin might reach the level of awfulness that could top even Trikki Nikki herself.
Benji will have to try hard, though. After all, doesn’t the governor have someone else drive for them?

He is a fool. He should look again at the 2010 AA turnout for Sheheen. It was higher than in any other non presidential year. Maybe jay has a way to increase it even more but he better not count on them coming out like that for an unknown like him.

If a Democrat can get elected to the senate from Alaska and Indiana and North Dakota, it can happen here too.
If Graham loses in the primary, the Democrat starts at 46 percent no matter what. They only need 3 or 4 percent more.

Mr. Stamper, Mr. Stamper, oh Mr. Stamper
Do believe you forgot # 9
9. According to Farmer’s Almanac on election day 2014, the moon and the sun will be in perfect alignment allowing for the Sun’s rays to be bounced off the Moon’s surface directly up the asses of all Tea Party Republicans resulting in temporary brain dysfunction(can’t vote) thereby guarantying Democrats victory.
By the way are you related to the Stamper fellow who saved the World from Armageddon a few years back when he blew up that comet. If you are, say hello to his daughter. She is cute.

Another potential is that Republicans who do go to the polls to vote against the Dem candidate for Governor may just vote for Tim Scott and conveniently forget to vote for LOG.

Well, bless his heart! I think he could be a great choice to replace that idiot man.

Why is there no mention of me?
Alvin, your endorsement is prolly 40% of the vote, right there. Know what I mean?

Posting under a different moniker here lest I be thought the fool.
How are both Senate seats vacant? Actually, both are held by Republicans, one of whom is running for re-election. But isn’t Scott finishing Demint’s term?
Well, that didn’t work out the way I thought it would!

Actually a pretty well-reasoned list to support Mr. Stamper’s premise, except for the fact that he seems to (unknowingly?) suggest that Vincent Sheheen and Steve Benjamin can both be the Democratic nominee for governor in 2014 at the same time.

Probably not this one. Big business, Roman Catholic (probably pro-life all the way) and generally, looks like a pseudo-democrat. I’d be wary.
