In the end we will join the other States who have entered the Medicaid expansion, as we should.

Nothing like pandering and posturing for votes, only to sober up when reality hits. Like Scott, Brewer, and Kasich, she’ll see the light too.

Politics 101. “Don’t ever paint oneself into a corner that one cannot extricate oneself from.”

I keep trying to figure out who died and appointed these people the “voice” of fiscal conservatives. Most of them are complete freaking lunatics.

Hypocrisy or not- there are tens of thousands poor who will now receive access to or upgrades to their medical needs. That is a good thing unless you are from the Andre Bauer school of let ’em eat cake (as long as it will not allow ’em to breed).

Remember someone has to pay for all this expansion… I’ll just send my new tax raise to all of you!

The attack on Medicaid is another attack on the poor and needy. Do you really think the voters cannot see your machinations? The GOP will continue to become more of a minoirty party the more they run from common sense and the more they kick people in the teeth. While you may huff and puff and feel your turf is protected in SC, you are not in lockstep with the rest of the nation. We are in a liberal moment in the USA, thank God. The GOP is the party of old white men.
