Are you kidding me?? Turner needs to immediately drop out of the race. I have had enough with racist republicans and the others who have said really stupid things. Lets stop turning off voters and actually win some elections.
This was an honest assessment by someone who has an interest in reaching out to his pupils in a way that they can understand and be willing to connect. Maybe it was an incautious one, or and inelegant one but not a racist one, IMO

WTF is wrong with saying that? Can you honestly say your white ass relates? (Note: Clever references to obscure hip songs is not evidence of such) My brother is a 7th grade math teacher and he has trouble relating to underprivileged black students. He is consistently trying to figure out ways to relate and connect. It’s a teachers job to do that. It clearly appears Teddy was saying this from a teacher’s standpoint. Since when did this site become so fucking PC? Will, your disdain for everyone not you and/or out of line with your exact line of thinking has weakened your message. Last week you ripped someone for being the son of a successful businessman … such a leftist/elitest stance. Enough with the gotcha shit. Less TMZ, more National Review please.

Good god, you don’t really think a whitey like Turner can actually relate to the lower class black folks in SC, do you? Shit mofo, he be cracker ass wit no screet cred, mofo be rich, fuck da man.
It is a culture all its own, outsiders need not apply. No harm in trying to understand or fairly represent, but don’t try to pull off the “I be wit u bro” routine.
He is trying to connect with his students, not pretending to be like them. So he is refreshing in his awkwardness. Unless you prefer he went with the “I be wit u bro” schtick of far too many liberals that I know who are really closet racists.
No, no, I would rather he not try the “bro” schtick. Maybe I got him all wrong. You got to understand, I suppose, that an elected representative cannot be redneck/bro/refined all in one, but should do their best to understand and fairly represent the populace. I know, I know, I’m dreaming.

I see the upgrade to the site has done nothing to eliminate the mysterious missing half-paragraph problem.
“Maguire was attempting to affirm his “oneness with the brothers,” something we failed miserably to do in the first half of this sentence when we used the phrase “oneness with the brothers.” Seriously, what does that even mean (expect”
