“Little known face???”
So is mine.
Probably should be “fact” — after Will is often short on facts and long on faces
Nice pic. How do you score this stuff?
I’d have thought that any gov’t agency management would be running away screaming when they see you coming by now.
This definitely makes me wanna recycle now…ha….not really. But it’s fun to imagine her chastising me for not doing so…in a bikini…with a paddle…..I keeeeed!
Not to step on anyone’s pet cause here, but it’s worth noting that recycling isn’t a universally good thing, whether government subsidizes it or not.
For an excellent, and entertaining analysis of the subject, take 30 minutes and watch this:

Or you could be like a lot of South Carolinians:
Just throw your shit on the side of the road………..
At least all the beer cans may bolster my retirement income in a few years. May have to fight for them, though.
lmao @ same ol’
In Michigan as a kid that’s how I made my money for a while. I spent all day picking up cans & bottles on the side of the road and getting .10 a crack for them(which was pretty good money in the late 70’s/early 80’s, especially for a 10-12 year old).
I keep the beer/soda cans (they are mostly beer and mostly Budweiser at that so I don’t know if “Bud” is the most popular beer or just that “Bud” drinkers are the biggest litterbugs) I pick up in the ditch adjoining my property for a little “pocket money” myself but not the plastic grocery bags, paper, glass bottles and other assorted shit I find every weekend.
Residential curbside recycling is a waste of resources. A dirty little not so secret is that about the only thing that really gets recycled from your house hold bin is the aluminum cans. The rest of it gets baled up and shipped to a landfill in another state. And in return that state ships their household recycles to us. Most trash hauling contracts have a clause that mandates none of the recyclables collected can be deposited in that state’s landfill so we get to play this game.
Ha! That’s pretty funny. I should have suspected as such. I can’t wait to share this with my better half that goes through huge amounts of BS to “recycle”.
I, on the other hand, get a good talking to when I manage to sneak an empty vegtable can into the trash.
I doubt that is true, but what is clearky a waste is having that hard working guy get out of the truck to sort the recycables at each house. Toss everything in and empty it at a facility with a conveyor belt with prisoners picking and sorting. Give them some bounty or modest straight pay for it. You might even get regular workers. I saw this once in another state.
“recycleables” — a second stab at the spelling, perhaps still not right.
To SSFH
Probably “clearly” instead of “clearky” also.
“I doubt that is true”
Why?
How do tell the difference between a redneck and a good-ole-boy?
1) a redneck throws his empty beer cans out the window and into a ditch
2) a good-ole-boy will reach out the window and throw his in the back of his pickup truck
And a good girl throws her beer cans in a well manicured yard because she knows the owner will pick them up promptly the next day and probably recycle them.
……. I like the good girls who drink from long-neck beer bottles by holding them by the neck, lifting their elbows and chugging them down!
South Carolina has also recycled governors: David Beastley, Jim Hodges, Mark Sanford, and the latest reincarnation, SC Governot Nikki Haley. All of these past and current governots are retreads.
We haven’t had a decent governor since Carroll Campbell!
South Carolina desperately needs a leader and perhaps one of those lost in the last GOP primary; the real leader lost in the past general election.
Why are we so damned dumb?
Because it is South Carolina politics…………..
Lee “Lightbulb” Bright vs. John Hawkins
Need I say more??
I have on two separate occasions been behind garbage trucks and witnessed the garbage men picking up the recycle bin and throw it in the back with the normal household trash. Could have been extenuating circumstances but it was different neighborhoods and different times/days. Some days/places they pick up with a separate truck some days/places one size fits all.
