Legislators see taxpayers as their own personal ATM. Just look at the earmark list. People need to tell them to stop or vote them out.
“People need to tell them to stop or vote them out.”
They should. The politicians need a good laugh. Lord knows Lindsey Graham draws the most supposed ire from conservatives and he didn’t even have to have a runoff in his primary.
The state legislature affects our lives more than Miss Lindsey. Most people are foolishly uninformed and only vote in the “big” elections. Too late to change anything at that point. And most will never call out a legislator or call their office. The voting public is just lazy and dumb.
“Seven Days for Scout” to get what it wanted. And it’s holding up the State’s business to get even more. Six months plus for a tax cut for the taxpayers, and no actual finish line in site. Hell, it has really been more like a couple years. Remember that this November….
