Lee Deer Cope
Lee Cope is an attorney at the Parker Law Group which was formerly known as PMPED. According to the Parker Law Group website, Lee’s practice focuses primarily on nursing home litigation, medical malpractice, defective highways, and defective products, such as automobiles and industrial machinery that cause injury and/or death. Lee also litigates cases on behalf of special needs children who have been abused and neglected at group homes or other similar facilities.
Cope’s name has come up several times during the Murdaugh trial as he appeared to be the partner working with Jeanne Seckinger when she discovered the missing fees from the case Murdaugh was working with attorney Chris Wilson.
Cope served in the U.S. Army as a military police officer in both Germany and the United States. He attended the University of South Carolina for both his undergraduate and law degree. He obtained his law degree in 1997 and was admitted to the bar that same year.
