(Kinda) sad ….. but prescient I think. I’m not sure where to look for a viable, competent candidate at this point.
You could have just condensed this to–
1. She’s a lousy politician that nobody really likes and never had a chance.
2. Her “momentum” was just everybody else dropping out and her filling the space.
Dementia J Trump was always going to roll all over the spineless weasels of the GQP.
People in South Carolina remember Nikki’s priorities like her requiring state agencies to answer their phones with a pointless and time consuming “Having a great day in South Carolina”. Or weeks into her first term as Governor, jetting off to places like Chicago or California, “to seek donations”. Donations for what? What legitimate interest in SC politics did people in those places have?
People in South Carolina remember the wreck Nikki allowed her cronies, like Greg Ryberg from Aiken County; to loot pillage and burn, the SC retirement systems and raise the time in service needed for Police and Firefighters to retire from 25 to 28 years.
People in South Carolina remember multiple appointments by Nikki of old cronies, to head state agencies often with disasterous results which hurt those agencies and the citizens they served for years after she left for the bright lights of New York City and the UN. People remember part-time Templeton and Leroy Smith. Leroy kept morale at the SC Dept of Public Safety in the basement for years after she was gone. Henry McMaster lacked the guts to fire Leroy and on he stayed, until he decided for himself to go.
People remember the disaster that Nikki was for South Carolina.
Reports of Nikki Haley’s political demise are GREATLY exaggerated.
It is NOT ALWAYS the horse ahead out of the gate; but the one ahead at the finish line.
The only math that matters is the delegate count; and so far, it not insurmountable: Trump 33, Haley 15, with 47 states and some districts and territories still to vote.
I like Haley’s pro-life, non-sanctimonious stance, and her re-industrialization commitment. I like Trump’s non-smoking, non-drinking commitment and his genuine dislike of wars.
But Nikki is correct that America does not want a Trump-Biden rematch; and I know the country will not survive the November 2024 election if that is the choice.
I have no more confidence in the Biden extremists than in the Trump extremists to remain civilized if their candidate loses.
Sadly, that is what the system deteriorated into.
Can it correct itself? Sure, but not by the extremists on either side.
Democracy is not about REPLACING officials but about EVOLVING them. Nikki can evolve into a dove if she sees that war is NOT cost-effective. Rabid xenophobes can be evolved into understanding that immigrants do not “poison” the country’s blood but renew it.
Those who truly love America should have a sober look at the trends and understand that the “magical” solutions do not come from above but from within.
A big thanks to Will Folks for helping the GQP lose the White House again this year.
All we have to do is sit back and watch Republicans eat each other alive. That usually happens when the worst people in America try to group up ;-)
I think Nikki has a chance to win against Biden if she’s the nominee.
Trump has shown already that he can’t win even though he continues to say otherwise. So go ahead and spread rumors about her. It just helps Biden’s chances.
It’s funny as heck. Imagine if Hillary ran against Trump again in 2020, but worse. Trump’s probably going to jail before November.

E. Jean Carroll just got an award of 83 million for being raped by Trump and then defamed by Trump. Should she get Trump Tower or Mar A Lago? Maybe he can get Mexico or Putin to pay. I’ll bet Melania is pissed off, Carroll only had to put up with him once, and will probably end up with more than Melania ever will.

Don’t share Will Folks’ sin; let him answer to his god one day for it. But I pray Will Folks repents and exonerates Nikki before then.
Frankly, all the rumors against Nikki Haley are just lack of respect for a 100% genetically East Indian woman although she is 100% culturally North American.
I hope Nikki does to Trump and Folks what she did that state senator who had called Nikki (or her father) a towel head.
She ignored him then had her friend, Katrina Shealy, defeat him.

Both Folks and Marchant have signed depositions. I don’t think that Folks and Marchant want to perjury themselves in a court of law.
