I remember thinking that Will’s story about him and Haley was an attempt by Vince Sheheen’s camp to ensure expansion of the Sheheen empire beyond Kershaw County, back in 2010. I dismissed it and voted for her. Weeks into her first term, many to include myself, were experiencing buyer’s remorse. One of her first official acts as Governor was to require all South Carolina state agencies to have employees answer the phones with a lengthy and time-wasting “Having a great day in South Carolina” or words to that general effect. Really? Shows where her priorities were.
Not even six months in the Governor’s Mansion and she was flying to places like Chicago and California, seeking “donations”. My questions then as now centered on what possible legitimate interest “donors” in those places had in her or in South Carolina.
Haley turned cronies like Greg Ryberg from Aiken County, loose on our State Retirement systems, crippling and maiming that once-great institution as it was pillaged, looted, and burned. She brought in cronies like Part-time Templeton and Leroy Smith to head and create upheaval in state agencies.
As UN Ambassador, she was like an obnoxious yapping female dog, trying to antagonize Russia at every turn so she could look tough and bolster her stage persona for a future Presidential run. I shudder to imagine the damage she could do to our country and the world if she became President.
I wish I had listened to Will when he made his story known.
Will is just as horny as the mainstream media to portray this as a horse race but this racehorse is headed to the glue factory like the rest.
“Given my personal history with Haley, I’ve done my best not to unfairly criticize her since she announced her candidacy for the American presidency. In fact, I praised her earlier in the campaign (and more recently) for staking out some important ideological ground on the issue of entitlement spending. Also, where she has shown promise in the polls, I’ve reported on that – and will continue to do so.
Certainly any criticism I’ve directed against her will remain substantive and well-documented …”

Don’t forget about when Russian hackers were able to get the personal info of almost the entire State and Nikki waited weeks to let us know.
Nikki needs to stay in SC and away from the White House. World leaders would run right over her bumpkin ass.
