Sounds like AleX was dealing drugs, with Curtis Smith as the courier, to members of the judicial system.

I believe that Randolph Murdaugh had his hands in all of this, as well.

Do you mean brother Raaandolph or Daddy Randolph?? Or both?

It was great & very well done! I still believe he acted alone in the murders, but had help afterwards. As for the allegations of a major drug network? There has to be some truth there. He was much more than a small time user or addict. I think it is very telling that Blanca is so terrified & walks around her own property armed. Maggie had to know a lot & it seems as if she wanted out. Paul drawing legal attention to the family & Maggie knowing too much was probably their demise. Alex’s motive was self preservation.

That Becky Hill sure had a lot to say and loved being in the limelight. Makes it much easier to believe the allegations against her. Quite the busybody!

Perhaps you do not understand the Lowcountry. Everybody knows everybody and everybody is in everybody’s business. It’s in the blood.

Totally irresponsible to create “cliffhanger” about whether AM acted alone. Netflix has done more to create manufactured doubt about Alex’s guilt in the murders of Paul and Maggie than Jim and Pooter and dozens of half-baked and half-cocked podcasters and “journalists”combined, and for that deliberate, cynical, click-baiting, the network deserves contempt of the deepest order.
