by AMY FEINSTEIN || Thomas Ravenel, the disgraced politician and former star of Bravo TV’s Southern Charm reality television show, is still dating the woman who sparked his latest public drama.
Earlier this year, Ravenel found himself featured on a less-than-flattering banner displayed at the private residence of Charleston, S.C. business owner Leo Chiagkouris.
Chiagkouris also launched an online petition warning people about Ravenel, who at the time had allegedly begun to date Heather Mascoe, who is said to be the mother of Chiagkouris’ children.
From the petition …
Would any parent allow this convicted man to establish himself in your home while your children are present? This man was booked of 2nd Degree Assault and Battery … to a Former Nanny! Also, was indicted on Federal Cocaine Charges! As a concerned parent of my own children, who experienced this situation, I feel very concerned to pass this information on to others and for other parents to beware!!!!!
The large banner which hung outside of Chiagkouris’ home offered a similar warning. In fairness to Ravenel, however, both the banner and the petition referenced a criminal charge he is not currently facing. They correctly referenced a sexual assault charge and a felony drug conviction, however.
What sparked this unorthodox public relations campaign? Chiagkouris was reportedly told by the children he shares with Mascoe that Ravenel had slept over with her while they were entrusted to her care – sparking the unusual reaction.
But while sources thought the relationship was fleeting (the banner was posted at the end of May), it appears as though Ravenel and Mascoe are still seeing one another.
Not only that, the 38-year-old nurse has reportedly met and spent time with the two young children Ravenel shares with his ex-girlfriend, Kathryn Calhoun Dennis.
Ravenel is also said to be shopping for a residence closer to Mascoe’s home on Sullivan’s Island, all while he remains out on bail after being charged with second degree assault of the former family nanny.

According to our sources, Ravenel and Mascoe (above) were strolling on the beach on Sullivans Island together over the weekend when police were called to investigate a report of a possible dead body in the water. According to a tweet from FITSNews founding editor Will Folks, Ravenel may have been the one who called in the report.
There was no body, thankfully.
Ravenel and Dennis continue to fight it out in family court, but it seems they may have met their match in Mascoe and Chiagkouris, who have also been sparring in the legal system according to records posted on the Charleston county website.
