Family Searches For Missing Union SC Woman

Jessica Ashmore has not been seen or heard from for forty days …

The family of a missing Union County, South Carolina woman is joining SC Crime Stoppers in offering a reward for information related to her recent disappearance and/or current whereabouts.

Jessica Nichole Ashmore, 34, of Jonesville, S.C. has not been seen or heard from since Monday, May 20 – a span of forty days.

According to deputies with the Union County sheriff’s office, on that date Ashmore went for a walk on Jefferies Farm Road near Jonesville, S.C. and did not return home. She left behind her phone, her purse and an inhaler she uses for her chronic asthma.

Deputies believe Ashmore is in the Union, Jonesville, Pacolet or Spartanburg, S.C. areas.

Ashmore (above) is 5-foot-4 and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes and a butterfly tattoo on her lower back. She also has a birth mark on the back of her neck.

Crimestoppers is offering a $750 reward for information related to her disappearance/ possible whereabouts, and Ashmore’s family is matching that amount for a total reward of $1,500.

Ashmore’s mother has been pleading for her daughter on social media.

“I am desperate at this point!” she wrote. “My heart is breaking every day that I don’t hear from her. Please help me find my daughter! She’s never been away when she didn’t call or answer a message. She’s not responded to me since May 19th. I know my daughter and she would never do that unless something was wrong.”
