VETERAN COP CHARGED WITH SOLICITATION …

The police chief of Winnsboro, S.C. has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of an investigation into his arrest on solicitation charges.

Freddy Lorick, Sr. and nine other men were busted on Friday in Columbia, S.C. as part of an undercover sting operation.

According to reporter Glen Luke Flanagan of The (Columbia, S.C.) State newspaper, Lorick told police during the arrest that he needed medical attention.  He was taken to a local hospital – where he remained as of Monday afternoon.

The raid that nabbed Lorick and the other men took place at a “no tell motel” near Greystone Boulevard in downtown Columbia, S.C. It was executed by the Columbia police department.

As we’ve stated repeatedly, this website has no problem with prostitution.  Of course we do have a problem with police officers enforcing laws on the one hand and breaking them with the other.

Winnsboro (population 3,351) is the seat of Fairfield County, S.C. and is located approximately thirty miles north of Columbia.
