First, if you look closely enough, it appears that either Judge Clifton Newman’s hand had developed some tremor from the time he signed two different orders in my cases or a law clerk signed an order for the judge, who does not usually write out his full first name in his signature. That signature has the first N in his last name starting with a hook and the last n with a long upward stroke. The first N is also narrower and its turns are sharper-angled than the N in the signature on one of the orders.
I sincerely hope that has been properly diagnosed and treated.
Otherwise, as important to investigate as Juror 758’s exclusion from the deliberating jury is a male guilty-voting juror remaining on the jury after having been paid “thousands of dollars” from an extra-judicial source instead of being excused to return to work and earn enough to pay his overdue child support.
That story is in Becky Hill’s book, is VERY serious, and should not be ignored.
