THE CONFEDERATE FLAG FLAP IS BACK!
The Secessionist Party of South Carolina has plans to raise the Confederate flag on the grounds of the S.C. State House again … if only for one day.
“You thought it was over?” one of the group’s social media invitations stated. “It’s only just begun.”
Oh boy …
The group has scheduled an event at the State House in downtown Columbia, S.C. for July 10, 2016 – the one-year anniversary of the flag’s removal from the grounds. At that gathering, the controversial banner will be hoisted again from atop a 25-foot aluminum pole – on the exact spot where it flew for more than a decade-and-a-half.

Anyway, we support this group’s right to demonstrate … if for no other reason than this will be a heritage-themed event that (so far as we know) isn’t being organized by an undercover agent of the federal government.
No really … that’s a thing.
Anyway, for more information on this event, visit the group’s Facebook page.
