That is sad. Sometimes, the Powers-That-Be seem blind and deaf to the obvious.

Please keep this in the public eye. Those officers have lied to that poor Mom and that is outrageous. Attorney Lori Murray has stated as much on Impact of Influence.

The mom needs to hire an attorney and file a wrongful death lawsuit against the family of the person who was with her son. SLED will then have no choice but to release the entire unredacted file. Maybe that social Justice warrior Kendrick will represent her family pro bono

Not taking sides as I don’t have all the information, but I would have to give the investigators and the solicitor the benefit of the doubt at this point in time if they say there is not evidence to make a case. It is not a smoking gun with the manner of death being stated as a homicide since suicide is a type of homicide (look at any law dictionary). Either way, I wouldn’t want anyone to be going through what this family has had to endure. I wish them the best in resolving their concerns and moving on with their lives.

The ‘friend’ seems guilty, a corner would lust the death as a homicide if it was in fact a suicide. Period. I’m almost certain a licensed professional wouldn’t have misclassified the autopsy. Their are 5 official manners of death and the report clearly says homocide, which is more than enough to keep pressure on the ‘friend’.

suicide is not a type of homicide, homicide, literally man killer, is death caused by the hand of another. Also the SLED Major is incorrect. The parents are absolutely under SC law allowed to view the autopsy results and related videos and photos. This contradicts his letter stating they are not allowed to see ANY files related to his death.

Also i would have the SLED Major provide the specific statute that exempts the investigation from disclosure. The only exemption related to child fatalities are the records from the Child Fatality Committee meetings, there is no mention of child fatality investigations being exempt anywhere. Seems like not to long ago another SLED Major gave advice resulting in the taxpayers having to foot a hefty legal bill for the supposed lawful, according to that Major, destruction of a mans property.

Sounds like the family of “James” is connected up…or Laurens is inept, or both. Please keep on this story.

There’s is literally a statement from the sisters boyfriend where they forgot to redact the shooters name in one spot. James real name is Hunter. So WHO IS HUNTER?!

I also think the shooters name is Hunter. Hunter, or Henry, or James, whatever, enjoy the time you have as a free soul because you won’t get away with this.

Sad a kid died, of course, but what the fuck is a 14 year old doing with a gun in their room?

Children are notoriously responsible and never act impulsively, having a great understand of the fragility of human life.
