|| By FITSNEWS || Less than six months after its leader resigned in disgrace, the U.S. Secret Service is staring down yet another scandal involving inebriated agents.
According to The Washington Post, two senior agents – including one of U.S. president Barack Obama‘s personal bodyguards – crashed a car into a White House barricade following a late-night party for retiring Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan.
Were they drunk? Um … we’ll never know for sure now.
Carol D. Leonnig of the Post reported that “officers were ordered by a supervisor on duty that night to let the agents go home” even though they “wanted to arrest the agents and conduct sobriety tests.”
Wow …
Last October, agency head Julia Pierson resigned her post after a 42-year-old Iraq War veteran scaled the fence of the White House, ran 70 yards across the lawn and entered the building wielding a serrated knife. Three years ago, the Secret Service was dogged by “Hooker-gate,” a scandal in which agents assigned to protect Obama during a trip to Colombia, South America allegedly engaged in a drunken orgy with prostitutes.
Clearly this is an agency with some institutional issues … both with regard to bad behavior as well as a lack of accountability.

Just what we need, another “Gubamint Agency” loaded with drunks running around with MP5s, FN P90s and Sig P229s – you’d think that the Post Office, the TSA, the FBI, the DEA etc. would be enough.
Don’t forget the IRS, they have guns too.

Not to mention SLED, SC Highway Patrol and damn near every police force in the state & nation that could get in line to suck the teat of government security grants and surplus equipment left over from not being sent to Iraq or returned from there.
. . . and they can’t even keep it secret.
This is truly a disgrace.
All these agents are supposed to be the cream of the crop and are comprised of college graduates who largely hold degrees in accounting,business,law, etc.
Truly disgraceful.
And this is only the stuff that leaks out to the media. Obviously, even most Secret Service agents hate Obama, too. They simply have no care for him.
