I know where you are coming from , but if the state were run by Dims. it would be the same outcome. Politicians are politicians. Most are egotists of the highest order. I, me, my are the most important thing on their minds, at everyone else’s expense if necessary. I tend to dismiss this kind of thing as “shit happens” and look for the good politicians who uphold the traditions of service and devotion to country. Sometimes it is hard to do but worth the effort. It can also get lonely.
