If the NAACP were only as passionate about actually helping to advance colored people.

“…few have paid the boycott any mind” is a conclusion based on ….what? is SC one of the poorest states in the country or not? i can’t say for certain but is it not possible that the state being full of angry shitheads has caused us to miss out on some economic development?

Give 10 million and they will give you a lifetime award Gary! These folks are no different than the Jackson’s and Sharpton’s of the world. They are true Blackmailers!

The Quakers and the Harlem Globetrotters are also honoring the boycott. Ironically, the SC NAACP continues to hold its “Freedom Banquet,” its biggest fundraiser, in Columbia.

I would suggest the NAACP update their protest in my following three point plan:

1. Instead of wide-ranging issues to boycott, they need to laser focus on JUST the flag. Nothing else.

2. They need a name and shame campaign of legislators who still support flying that god awful symbol of oppression, traitorous villainy and forced human bondage on public state house grounds, buildings, license plates, etc.

3. They need a twitter, facebook army to pressure businesses and corporates to not locate here, scale down operations or otherwise cease operations until the flag is gone.

Boom. Problem solved.

I wonder if those that are truly racist would be working behind the scenes to keep the flag flying so as to use the boycott keep black organizations out, something they couldn’t do of their own accord.
