In case you hadn’t noticed, there’s been a rash of trash talk in the Palmetto State in the wake of the 2013 college football season …
Don’t believe us? Click here and here.
This is a good thing as far as we’re concerned. Both the University of South Carolina and arch-rival Clemson University are Top Ten programs now – and fans of both schools are rightfully energized by their teams’ success.
Anyway, this week Clemson fans stepped the smack up a notch by circulating a “letter” ostensibly sent from All-American defensive end Jadeveon Clowney to University of South Carolina fans “thanking” them for their support over the past three seasons. Clowney is turning pro in 2014, and is likely to be one of the top five players taken in the NFL draft.
The letter?
Yeah …
Classy, huh?
Never one to shrink from a challenge, FITS founding editor Will Folks (a.k.a. Sic Willie) – a University of South Carolina alum – responded that the chicken scratch wasn’t really a letter from Clowney, but rather Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney’s game plan against the Gamecocks.
And how well has that game plan been working out?
Still, though … that’s pretty clever. Especially coming from a Clemson fan.

That’s actually pretty funny.
My first question was who wrote the letter published in The State for him. Most people don’t speak like a ghetto thug and then write like a PhD English major.
Squish, you still coming by later to give me that hand job? Don’t forget to use some lotion. The last time your callouses rubbed me raw. Thanks playa
So you like getting hand jobs from men?
No. He asked you for one.
Well your mom does say that I have very soft hands.
Funny, Ron Jeremy and all the boys in cell block C at DOC say the same about your lips.
Ron Jeremy is in jail???
Yeah, they now have internet access in jail cells. Nice try.
Lol. Nicely done Clemson fans.
CLUCK FLEMSUX!!!
In recent news, this article “COLLEGE ATHLETES PLAY LIKE ADULTS, READ LIKE 5TH GRADERS” — how does your school compare? Interesting and, in some cases, shocking……..
http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/07/us/ncaa-athletes-reading-scores/
Look at who got elected president, TWICE!!!!. Evidently, it’s a H#!! of a lot more than college athletes struggling w/ intelligence in this country…
How did our primary education system get so broken that college affletes are now reading up to the level of 5th graders???
Just watch … in a couple years, 6th grade literacy will have sunk to the level of college affletes!
When you compare JD’s highly successful tenure at USC to D’Quan Bowers lackluster results at Clemson, Tater fans are understandably scared and anxious that future recruits will see the truth about the 2 programs. …
And that just means more years of @$$-Whoopin’ turned loose on Dabo and his successors, after he gets fired.
PS: Hasn’t Bowers been arrested on a gun charge???
Yes, he was a total failure at Clemson. Dabo had such higher aspirations for him.
2010 First-team All-ACC (DE)
2010 ACC Defensive Player of the Year
2010 Unanimous first-team All-American
2010 Bronko Nagurski Trophy
2010 Ted Hendricks Award
2010 Drafted 2nd round of the NFL draft
You are a complete total fucking idiot GT!
Bowers was a good ACC player, but that’s not bigtime college football…
And he was not even a first rounder, after being the No. 1 player in all of High School..Bowers was the 51st pick in the NFL draft. That’s closer to the third round than it is the first round…
The awards Bowers received were pretty much based on his reputation…not performance. I remember thinking what a dissappointment Bowers was.
It would be a surprise seeing Clemson get any more No. 1 prospects after the way Bowers’ stock fell.
Is Bowers under-achievment the reason Steele got dumped by Dabo???
Closer to the 3rd round than the 1st… either way it’s still the 2nd round.
It would have been a lot funnier if they had written some words, typical overdone Clempson BS – Clowney met the same NCAA standards the idiots playing in the prison colors did.
If that’s Dabo’s game plan, at least it is realistic. Red and black pretty much runs over everything else, just like on the field.
That’s Racist!!!!!!

You have a bad keyboard.
Probably just something with his Microsoft equipment Coots Beaker
I think there’s a gang that uses the same writing style you did. They won’t write or say a certain letter.
I got to looking at a picture of last years game – that’s Taj Boyd’s jersey, the yellow part is from the front where it was tucked in his pants…
At least Clowney took the time to use different colors.
better than Smoking Sammy Potkins could have done there coots Beaker
Here is the link to the photos of the Crayola colors that were rejected. They include such colors as “Spousal Abuse Black” and “Spousal Abuse Blue” —

Former Clemson All American running back CJ Spiller made the Deans List and the All ACC football academic team. Spiller graduated in 3.5 years. How then is it possible that Spiller scored at the bottom on the NFL’s Wonderlic intelligence test?
“It looks like that Stanford education is already starting to pay dividends for running back Toby Gerhart.
The Heisman Trophy finalist—who led the country in rushing yards (1,871) and touchdowns (28) in 2009—brought home the top score in the Wonderlic exam among this year’s running back class with a 30, according to a league source.
The Wonderlic test is a 12-minute, 50 question exam aimed at evaluating a prospect’s problem-solving abilities.
There has been much debate (especially from our readers) as to whether or not the test has any real significance in determining how a college football player will perform at the next level.
Some of the other top performers among the running backs include BYU’s Manase Tonga (29), LSU’s Charles Scott (26), Tennessee’s Montario Hardesty (25), Mississippi State’s Anthony Dixon (25) and North Dakota State’s Pat Paschall (25).
Rounding out the bottom of the class was Clemson’s C.J. Spiller, who scored a 10.”

Any sCUm fan want to bet Clowney doesn’t score at least a 15 on the Wonderlic?
That is the back of the envelope you have to open it to read the letter. What you see are the remarks the Clemson fans made!
Looks like a,Cy Twombly. Is this up for auction, yet?
Too bad it’s not Clowney’s, a Gamecock fan would have given him a quarter mil for it.
