In 2011, U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO-S.C.) supported Barack Obama’s efforts to rack up $2.4 trillion in new debt. In 2012, he supported massive tax hikes rather than insisting the federal government slow its deficit spending.
In 2013, Graham supported giving Obama a four-month blank check to grow the national debt by as much as he saw fit – while at the same time opposing the modest reductions in government excess agreed upon as part of the 2011 “debt dereliction deal.”
Oh … and let’s not forget that before all of that Graham was a loyal debt hiker for former “Republican” president George W. Bush, whose addiction to deficit spending outpaced the previous 42 presidents.
In other words, there is no debt hike or deficit spending binge Lindsey Graham hasn’t enthusiastically supported – which is why we found the following invitation our founding editor received this week somewhat ironic …

Lindsey Graham will have a conversation with the Univ. of South Carolina’s College Republicans at 6 pm tonight (Oct 23) at the business school’s Belk Auditorium. Among other important issues, Sen. Graham will discuss the urgency of protecting younger and future generations from an overwhelming IOU in the form of our out-of-control budget process and national debt. The senator will answer questions following the discussion.
Immediately after Sen. Graham’s remarks, the non-partisan millennial-led organization The Can Kicks Back will present a screening of the award-winning documentary “Overdraft” followed by real time polling of the audience on key budget issues affecting young people. This event is part of TCKB’s cross-country tour of college campuses to mobilize young people on the issues of the national debt and generational equity.

Mere days after voting (again) to stick it to America’s current and future taxpayers, Lindsey Graham is going to “discuss the urgency of protecting younger and future generations from an overwhelming IOU in the form of our out-of-control budget process and national debt.”

Our founding editor fired off a response email to the national public relations firm promoting Graham’s appearance asking if the invitation was a joke.
“Not a joke at all, Will,” came the response. “Not at all.”

So … will the University of South Carolina’s “Romney Youth” buy the snake oil Graham is selling them?

John Q’s point is well taken because fiscally irresponsible Republicans still outnumber the fiscally responsible ones. This has got to change.
No Democrat is worth voting for. We had enough of fascists in the 1940’s. On the other hand, voting for Graham is a study in fooling oneself. Whoever wins the sorting out portion of the primary and winds up running against Lindsey will get my vote.
Graham wants to do something about the national debt? What, is he announcing his resignation or something?
A few weeks ago, he’s saying we need to bomb Syria, regardless of the cost. Now he cares? What a fool.

I’m just hoping the pretenders for Graham’s office don’t beat each other to death in the media and exhaust themselves out before they get a chance to actually meet up with him. Lindsay Graham needs a career change. He’s probably racked up so much money as payback for selling out the citizens of South Carolina. Maybe Obama will take his boy Lindsay to Chicago to live out his days since they get along so well.
He doesn’t give a flying fuck about anything or anyone but himself. He is a true psychopath in sheep clothing. The serious sickness between his ears is coming out for all to see.
